About Gary Edwin

Gary Edwin has been teaching the game since 1961 and is recognised as Australia's most prominent golf coach. He credits his success to his philosophy of making things simpler and understanding cause of motion.

Even before today's swing analysis software Gary used to draw lines on television sets and compare video footage of good players and his students. He started to see common denominators in good swings and various swing patterns that enabled him to better understand motion and how to change it.

Since its inception in 1996 Gary has taught an undergraduate course in golf skills and techniques for the PGA accredited Griffith University golf management degree. Many of his graduates have gone on to become players and respected teachers in their own right.

Gary is a frequent key note speaker at PGA national coaching summits and in 2006 was awarded Australian PGA Teacher of the year.

Gary and his staff work with many of the Australia’s best Tour Players and Amateurs.
