Gavin Coles has moved up to 39th on the Nationwide tour money list after finishing in a tie for 4th in Midland Texas. He lead going into the back nine but soft bogeys on the 16th and 17th saw him finish 3 back of the leaders on 15 under. He has now secured a start in the tour championship and is only about $20,000 out of the top 25. He said he hit 16 greens on sunday and just did not get up and down when he needed to.
