Gary Player meets Arnold Palmer again

Wednesday, Jan, Gavin, Peter and friend Laurence played at Bay Hill.  Gary went along to keep an eye on their games.  As though he hadn't seen enough of the course last week.

Arnie, "The King", was there just completing his round.  Last time Gary had his photo taken with Arnold Player was when he was a young trainee professional.  "Gary Player meets Arnold Palmer" was the by-line  in the Sydney papers.

The course was still set up with Sunday pins from the tournament, so it was a great opportunity to play it with that level of difficulty.  Even Gary who was there last week had not truly appreciated how long many of the holes were.

Jan and Pete Senior started a bit slowly but improved as the round went on.  Pete even had a hole-in-one on the very difficult 17th.  Gavin played quite well and Gary said his putting was looking better after the work they did Tuesday at Keenes Point.

Friday they are planning to play at Isleworth (Tiger's home club)  where Jan is a member.
