Peter Senior has won the Australian Pga Championship on the second playoff hole. He made and birdied the final hole in regulation play to force a playoff with Geoff Ogilvy who shot 66 in the final round.

But after both narrowly missed birdie putts when they returned to the 18th for the first extra hole, Ogilvy three-putted for bogey leaving Senior to claim his third PGA title with par, following on from his 1989 and 2003 triumphs, the last of them at Coolum in 2003.
